HELP SET A TYLER YMCA RECORD

Help the Tyler YMCA set a record for the Reindeer Run. The Reindeer Run benefits area youth by raising funds to support programs for youth development. Last year, we set a Tyler YMCA record with $10,000 raised toward our scholarship program. This record helped to serve a record number of youth that genuinely needed assistance. Help us again set a record by reaching our goal of $15,000.

Step One: Register for the run

Step Two: Help us spread the word about this record setting event by making a video, submitting a picture, or writing a post relating to the Reindeer Run, dressing like a reindeer, or anything else you think might be fun. We'll hand out an award for the best entry at the awards ceremony after the run.

Make sure we get your submissions via Facebook so we can share them with others. Send us as many as you would like.

Step Three: Like us on Facebook to get and share updates on the race and on our record setting performace.

Step Four: Come out dressed in your best Reindeer antlers to be a part of something much bigger than a race.

ABOUT THE RACE

The Tyler YMCA 5K Reindeer Run presented by The Waterpark at the Villages is an annual event of 14 years. All proceeds go to benefit our Strong Kids Campaign, which sends kids to camp and provides afterschool care for kids that otherwise could not afford it. The race begins with a 1/2 mile run for kids and families, then comes the 5K, and then ends with an awards ceremony.

Event Schedule

8:00am - 9:00am: Race Day registration & packet pick-up

9:00am: 1/2 Mile Family Fun Run Begins

9:30am: 5K Reindeer Run begins
